1.      What types of graphics programs can be useful in the classroom? Give an example of each.

2.      How does reference software promote active learning?

Students can easily search for and discover many different topics easily. Its informative multimedia presentations with video, animation, and audio create a learning experience for students.



3.      How does simulation software encourage active learning?

Simulation settings are limitless and can teach students in a whole new way. One example is students can be in a simulated chemistry lab, they are able to mix and heat virtual chemicals and see the results without having to deal with the real substances.



4.      What is problem-solving software? Give an example that shows how it supports active learning.

It’s written to help students acquire and work through problem-solving skills. This gives students an environment where they can learn by doing.
